While all Cooki shampoo bars are colour safe for highlights, the Rice Water Protein shampoo bar is actively colour-protective on dark dye, helping defend against colour fading. This is also our first bar safe for keratin treated or permed hair, with a gentle formula that won't irritate the eyes, making it ideal for kids. The go-to bar when your hair needs a little extra TLC, this bar contains rice protein, rice powder, olive oil and castor oil - powerful ingredients that help strengthen your strands, nourish your hair follicles and promote new hair growth. Gentle and sulfate-free, this bar is suitable for curly hair, coloured hair, grey hair, oily hair and every hair type in between - a true all rounder. Free from added essential oils or fragrance, it has a very mild scent that is subtle and fresh. This bar pairs well with our Coconut Conditioner Bar (heavier, for dry, thick, or curly hair) or Ginger Conditioner Bar (lighter, ideal for normal, fine or oily hair - won't add weight).

Ingredients: Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Olive Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Castor Oil, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Rice Protein, Rice Powder, Citric Acid, Mica, Glycerin. Free from: phthalates, parabens, palm oil, gluten, sulfates, silicones, essential oils and synthetic fragrance.

How to use:  

Wet Cooki Shampoo Bar in hands until it begins to lather.  Run bar through wet hair from root to tip and massage until hair is lathered.  Rinse out with water.   

After rinsing out shampoo, wet Cooki Conditioner Bar in hands and rub gently. Run bar through wet hair from root to tip and massage until hair is lightly coated. Rinse out with water. If you get the conditioner in your eyes, rinse immediately with clean water.  

To keep your shampoo bar in good condition and long lasting, allow to dry in between washes.  We recommend using a drainer which can let the Cooki dry thoroughly. You can purchase the perfect sustainable bamboo drainer, or use something similar.
